Jacobs is seeking an experienced Wastewater Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Wilmington, Delaware facility. In this role, you will oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervise a team of maintenance technicians, and ensure the effective operation of all wastewater treatment plant equipment. You'll play a critical role in establishing and optimizing maintenance systems, asset management practices, and inventory controlsu2014particularly within Maintenance Connection (CMMS).The Maintenance Manager will be responsible forMaintenance Leadership & Supervisionu2022 Lead, supervise, and develop a maintenance team responsible for daily operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.u2022 Establish workflows for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities to ensure operational reliability.Asset Managementu2022 Support asset management principles, including service level agreements, lifecycle considerations, and triple-bottom-line decision-making.u2022 Utilize CMMS data to improve asset reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance maintenance efficiency.Maintenance Connection (CMMS) & Inventory Managementu2022 Oversee CMMS administration and ensure accurate, consistent asset and inventory data, including standards for inventory processes such as part setup, supplier information, and reorder methods.u2022 Direct and monitor the spare parts and inventory program, ensuring effective usage, replenishment performance, and full integration of PMs, work orders, safety documentation, and asset hierarchies within the CMMS.u2022 Establish training requirements and ensure staff proficiency in CMMS usage and data governance, supporting accurate data entry and consistent system practices.Planning, Scheduling & Budgetingu2022 Prepare estimates for labor, materials, cost, and duration of maintenance activities for both internal and external resources.u2022 Manage budgets by monitoring costs, adjusting maintenance activities, and optimizing resource allocation.u2022 Ensure maintenance planning aligns with operational goals, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.Safety & Complianceu2022 Reinforce safety programs, including Activity Hazard Analyses, SOPs, PPE standards, documentation, and regulatory compliance.u2022 Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to environmental permits, including NPDES and air discharge requirements.Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and weu2019ll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the worldu2019s most challenging Operations Management projects, together.#omfs #ourjacobs (All required)u2022 Six (6) years of maintenance experience in utilities or industrial environments, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience with 4+ direct reports.u2022 Demonstrated experience with Maintenance Connection CMMS, including inventory, work order, and asset management modules.u2022 Knowledge of planning, scheduling, inventory control, SOP development, and budgeting.u2022 Direct experience with pumps, motors, electrical equipment, and mechanical repair tools.u2022 Ability to diagnose malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.u2022 Valid driver's license with no major infractions.Ideally, Youu2019ll Also Haveu2022 High school diploma or equivalent.u2022 Experience in wastewater facility maintenance and familiarity with NPDES and air permit requirements.u2022 Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician, ABC Level 3 Plant Maintenance Technologist, or CWEA Level 4 Mechanical Technologist.u2022 Effective communication, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.u2022 Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices, mechanical systems, and electrical equipment.u2022 Ability to perform site walks, inspections, and field planning in confined spaces, heights, and environments containing fumes, gases, and chemicals.u2022 Ability to review technical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, one-line diagrams, schematics, and specifications for planning and troubleshooting.Working ConditionsSafety is a core value at Jacobs.
