JOB REQUIREMENTS: WTMJ Milwaukee is looking for a dynamic AccountExecutive to join our team and help local businesses thrive In thisrole, you'll be the trusted advisor who connects businesses with theadvertising solutions they need to reach their customers and grow. FromOver The Top (OTT) video and social media strategies to search engineoptimization (SEO/SEM), digital display, e-mail targeting, and broadcasttelevision, you'll offer a full suite of cutting-edge marketing toolsthat deliver real results. This is more than a sales jobit's anopportunity to build lasting relationships, solve problems creatively,and make a tangible impact on the success of local and regionalbusinesses in the Milwaukee area. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Sell advertisingsolutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.Apply the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to analyze current and prospectivecustomer needs and apply customized advertising solutions that providereturn on their investment. In addition to television commercial airtimesales, facilitate the customer's ability to take advantage of the fullarray of digital marketing options available. Independently prospect,secure appointments, perform needs analysis, develop customizedsolutions, present and close sales to develop and maintain new businessfrom traditional and non-traditional advertisers. Use ratings data,qualitative information and market trends to negotiate program ratingsand advertising rates with advertising agencies in order to maximizerevenue as well as develop custom solutions for new advertisers. Serveas a trusted advisor with new and existing clients, providebest-in-class customer service, grow accounts, and gain additionalbusiness from referrals. Perform client services, including but notlimited to media avail negotiations, presentation preparation deliveryand execution, copy writing, credit applications and collection ofrevenue due. Effectively and proactively manage a sales funnel by way ofCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, monitoring and achievingkey performance indicators and expected activity levels. Contribute tothe creative development of campaigns though client communication andneeds analysis, storyboard and concept creation, and assistance inproduction aspects. Build and maintain strong client relationships,which may include entertaining prospective and existing clients. Performroutine administrative functions of a media salesperson includingmakegood resolution, continuous update of CRM system with activity,account information and pending revenue, and communication with salesleadership regarding the status of accounts. Perform other duties asassigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU'LLBRING: Highly self-motivated and goal focused. Highly creative andinnovative thinker. Very strong analysis anddata interpretation - able to translate needs and research data intosound marketing proposals. Exceptional verbal and written communicationskills. Outstanding presentation abilities (in person/virtual,small/large groups, all levels). Strong time management andorganizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel andPowerPoint).
