Mead & Hunt is seeking an EntryLevel Structural Engineer to join our Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHGR)group in our West Allis, WI office. This position will typically supportGHGR, Food & Beverage, and One Water projects and work closely withexperienced engineers to develop foundational structural design skillswhile contributing to technically diverse projects. Responsibilities:Assist experienced engineers with the design and analysis of structuralsystems, including building foundations and equipment supports. Prepareand update drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Performsubmittal reviews and assist with quality control tasks. Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams including mechanical & process engineersand project managers. Utilize structural analysis software such asVisual Analysis or RISA. Gradually assume increased designresponsibility with mentorship from senior engineers. Support bothfast-paced food & beverage projects and more complex GHGR & One Waterprojects. May visit project sites to monitor progress and perform otherduties per the contract documents. May attend client meetings - days ornights. May assist with client contact and communication pertaining tospecific projects. Other duties as assigned The successful candidatemust have a minimum of: Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Structural,or Civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or universityThe preferred candidate will have: Previous industrial internshipexperience Familiarity with Visual Analysis and/or RISA Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Strong enthusiasm for learning and professionaldevelopment Eagerness to grow technical and projectbased skills Goodwritten and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborateeffectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail A positive, proactive attitude and willingnessto seek feedback This role offers structured mentorship, exposure to avariety of project types, and a clear path for professional development.Engineers will be paired with senior staff and gradually transition intodesign lead responsibilities as skills and experience grow.
