Aerospace Quality Inspector u2013 Ensure Excellence in Aerospace Quality Location: Jacksonville, FL Type: Full-Time Consultant (9-Month Contract) Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday 1st Shift, 6:00 AMu20132:30 PM OR 2nd Shift, 2:00 PMu201310:30 PM Pay Rate: $32.47 to $38.91 per hour About the Role PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail driven Aerospace Quality Inspector to support a leading organization in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet defined engineering and quality standards before delivery. Your work directly contributes to operational safety, regulatory compliance, and customer confidence across major aerospace programs. What Youu2019ll Do + Verify routine product conformance to design and quality requirements. + Provide objective evidence and documentation of inspection results. + Conduct audits, surveillance, and monitoring activities. + Identify and record discrepancies, segregate non conforming items, and maintain proper controls. + Perform preliminary review and disposition of non conformances. + Participate in product reviews with customers during verification processes. + Identify repetitive or significant issues and initiate corrective action requests. + Support overall product acceptance processes to ensure consistent quality outcomes. Required Qualifications + Aerospace experience (must have). + 737 program experience (must have). + A&P license (must have). + 3+ years of commercial or military derivative maintenance experience. + High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. + This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience performing quality, inspection, or product acceptance tasks. + Familiarity with aerospace product verification processes. + Strong understanding of industry standards and documentation requirements.
