NOW HIRING: 1st/2nd/3rd ASSISTANT PRESS OPERATORS MONDAY-FRIDAY $20.50/HOUR JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 To provide a safe work environment through proper training and communication. The Printing Assistant Operator will assist in the set-up and operation of the press while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment for maximum press efficiency production quality. u00b7 The Assistant Press Operator will assist in the set-up and operation of the press while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment for maximum press efficiency production quality. This position is responsible for working closely with a Press Operator to ensure customer quality expectations are being met. u00b7 Adheres to all safety policies and procedures while ensuring all team members work within the safety guidelines as established by Berry. u00b7 Complete safety orientation and forklift certification training. u00b7 Assist in the set-up and operation of the press. u00b7 Learn to accurately test key print properties. u00b7 Understanding of Quality Windows and accurate data entry. u00b7 Responsible for ensuring all finished product is within customer specifications. u00b7 Demonstrate trouble-shooting skills. u00b7 Assisting maintenance whenever necessary or required. u00b7 Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret Job Discrete Routing Sheets and how to identify raw materials by part numbers. u00b7 Understanding the operations and functions of press control panels. u00b7 Understand usage of MSDS sheets. u00b7 Understand SOC sheets and how to properly fill out. u00b7 Ensure proper housekeeping of the press and adjacent areas. u00b7 Ensure proper solvent and ink handling procedures are implemented and followed. u00b7 Ensure proper hazardous waste handling procedures are implemented and followed. u00b7 Effectively communicate and interact professionally with all people in the work environment.ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
