Reference #: 11924Job Summary:The Tax Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) Product Management Senior Manager manages the product lifecycle for proprietary technology solutions supporting the tax practice and delivery of services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax and technology product development with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products used to enable the delivery of professional services.Job Duties:Product Roadmap and Value CreationsContributes to the vision and product roadmap to maximize value delivered by ensuring the prioritization of the roadmap is aligned with tax practice strategy and needsManages product scope, budget, and timelineLeads the product team in delivering valueCoordinates with Value Management Office or similar organization to track and report business value and value creationEvaluate requests for capabilities from the practice to determine options and recommendations for fulfilling the need in context of the broader DT&I product stategyProduct Development Lifecycle ManagementEnsures products are developed consistently with BDO's tax technology strategy and guiding principlesEnsures product team members are following leading practices for providing requirements/user stories and working with the development teamOversees and is actively engaged in the process of gathering requirements/user storiesOversees the development and execution of product business testing plansCoordinates with the tax practice and technical teams for product release logisticsEnsures all required prerelease reviews and approvals are completed prior to releaseManages the creation and execution of the deployment, adoption, and change management plansCreates and manages the execution of product maintenance plans and budgetManages post-release user supportProduct Team ManagementEnsures appropriate resources assigned to projects to meet objectives and timelinesIdentifies potential challenges and proposes solutionsOversees product management and business analyst senior associate and associates working on assigned projectsStakeholder ManagementServes as a point of contact for stakeholders, coordinating and communicating proactively with all relevant stakeholdersServes as a liaison between the business and developers, gathering and applying feedback from users and others in the tax practiceMarket PresenceParticipates in pursuits by presenting BDO's technology stack capabilities related to products under managementEducates tax professionals and business development professionals on BDO's technology tools and how to present them as part of their pursuits and leverage them effectively on engagementsSupervisory Responsibilities:Ensures appropriate resources are assigned to projects to meet objectives and timelinesOversees Product Management managers, senior associates, and associates working on assigned projectsActs a supervisor to team members / career advisor as assignedOther duties as requiredQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education:Bachelor's degree required;
