The goal of the Solution Engineering team is to partner with key stakeholders in digital space including device manufacturers, operating system providers, wallet service to execute Mastercardu2019s digital strategy while identifying new business development and revenue generating opportunities. We aim to achieve this goal of defining new payment experiences through direct engagement with these partners and by packaging solutions leveraging Mastercardu2019s assets like digital, Loyalty, Advisors, Security, Acceptance and Processing solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly motivated growing team, help build unique relevant solutions and shape the evolution of the payments industry to create a world beyond plastic with valued experience for consumers and end users and enable merchants to reach new consumers in ways not possible in the pre-digital world. We are looking for Product Architect to join our Solutions Engineering Team - device manufactures who can help build compelling and scalable solutions ensuring the consumer and target segments can securely and conveniently pay however of wherever they choose in this increasingly connected world. The Role u2022 Manage technical engagement with high-profile, global strategic clients to design solutions leveraging Mastercardu2019s product suites and assets. u2022 Partner with clients to articulate business and technical requirements, including systems, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support. u2022 Define the solution strategy by partnering with Mastercardu2019s flagship agentic commerce product business owners as the product evolves from concept to market. u2022 Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Help define Mastercardu2019s technology roadmap and strategy for each digital partner. u2022 Design solutions and communicate them through clear documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts. u2022 Determine and advance operational feasibility through problem definition and project scoping. u2022 Work closely with Products, Services, and Operations/Technology teams at Mastercard and with partners to facilitate technical integrations. u2022 Collaborate effectively with software developers, processing engineers, software architects, and product managers to solve complex problems. u2022 Liaise with prototyping groups to create prototypes and support sales and/or implementation processes. u2022 Collaborate with regional and local project teams to provide project scope and requirements. u2022 File for intellectual property when new or unique solutions are created. u2022 Comply with rules of engagement, including business models and data strategy, ensuring Mastercardu2019s interests are protected and advanced. All About You u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, or equivalent professional experience. u2022 Ability to provide white-glove professionalism and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Strong background in payments, including product development, processing, or merchant operations (highly preferred). u2022 Familiarity with digital payment platforms and core enterprise systems. u2022 Understanding of web and mobile technologies, with experience contributing to software design or implementation. u2022 Proven ability to collaborate with developers and technical architects to build system solutions. u2022 Skilled in gathering and documenting requirements while balancing short-term business needs with long-term architectural goals. u2022 Self-motivated with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a history of successful project delivery in team environments. u2022 Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences. u2022 Strong project management capabilities, including managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. u2022 Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external partners across global teams. u2022 Demonstrated research and analytical abilities, including interpreting complex information and providing sound recommendations. In line with Mastercardu2019s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
