Job Title: IT ManagerJob Description The IT Manager is responsible for leading and integrating all aspects of IT, from infrastructure design and security to application development, information management, and process engineering. This role requires partnering with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic project and process plans. The IT Manager will manage resources and approve technical approaches to reduce risk and modernize the companyu2019s technology portfolio, while also overseeing the company's cybersecurity, including CMMC compliance. Responsibilities + Create a technology roadmap that outlines the strategic direction for IT initiatives, technology investments, and project timelines. + Manage the design, implementation, and modification of IT projects, coordinating resources, overseeing schedules, and managing changes, risks, and costs. + Lead the IT team, coaching and mentoring to develop skills and ensure career fulfillment and motivation. + Manage the IT budget and allocate resources for various projects and operational needs. + Drive the integration and maintenance of enterprise IT and cyber systems, ensuring adherence to best practices. + Implement and manage security measures to protect IT systems and data, including regular risk assessments and disaster recovery plans. + Collaborate with the FSO to ensure IT network compliance with CMMC and support security reviews and self-inspections. + Support the FSO with strategic initiatives to enhance cybersecurity posture, maintaining a balance between effectiveness and security. + Serve as the subject-matter expert in cybersecurity policy, planning, and risk mitigation. + Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. + Stay up to date with new technology and make recommendations as appropriate. Essential Skills + At least 3 years of leadership experience. + 5-10 years of total experience in IT. + CMMC experience required, with experience getting organizations to CMMC level 2 certification a plus. + Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. + Proven track record in reviewing policy documents, advising leadership, and implementing engineering solutions in accordance with NIST and CMMC. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + CISSP experience is a huge plus. + Masteru2019s degree preferred. + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. + Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial transactions and reporting. Work Environment The position requires working onsite 5 days a week, with limited flexibility. The IT Manager will oversee one IT technical and security specialist, with potential to add another team member later in the year. The role involves 75% hands-on duties, including transitioning IT functions in-house, and 25% management responsibilities. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
