Quality Engineer I

The Quality Engineer I is responsible for managing the lifecycle of technical documentation and ERP master data while progressively taking on hands-on quality engineering responsibilities. This role serves as the gatekeeper for Document Control, ensuring flawless execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) across all business units, while also assisting in cross-departmental root cause investigations and quality inspections. This position is ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to build a comprehensive foundation in holistic, organization-wide quality systems.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Document & Data Control: Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for various business functions. Ensure accurate and timely processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and bill of materials (BOM) updates within the ERP/MES systems. Quality Engineering Support: Assist senior quality staff, manufacturing engineers, and leaders from other departments (such as Supply Chain, R&D, and Customer Service) in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for product, process, and systemic non-conformities across the business.
