Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Winston Salem , NC . Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary 6am - 6pm, Saturdays as assigned. Job Responsibilities : u00b7 Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups u00b7 Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. u00b7 Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner u00b7 Process billing information and collect payments when required u00b7 Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis u00b7 Maintain patient and specimen information logs u00b7 Provide superior customer service to all patients u00b7 Administrative and clerical duties as necessary u00b7 Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required u00b7 Other Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: u00b7 High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: u00b7 Phlebotomy certification or 6 monthsu2019 of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: u25cf In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements. u25cf Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service u25cf Strong communication skills; both written and verbal u25cf Ability to work independently or in a team environment u25cf Comfortable working under minimal supervision u25cf Flexibility to work overtime as needed u25cf Able to pass a standardized color blindness test u25cf Valid Driveru2019s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation u25cf 21 yearsu2019 old At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
