Description: You will be the Utilities & Mechanical Systems Engineer - Level 2 for the Utility Systems u2013 Vehicle Systems team which is responsible for designing, improving, and sustaining utility and fluid systems on AMMM aircraft such as the Cu2011130 and Cu20115. What You Will Be Doing As the Utilities & Mechanical Systems Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for delivering robust mechanical and fluidu2011system solutions that keep our transport aircraft missionu2011ready. Your responsibilities will include: + Design, analyze, and refine mechanical and fluid utility systems for Cu2011130 and Cu20115 platforms. + Provide troubleshooting, production support, and sustainment solutions for flight controls, landing gear, fuel, hydraulic, and related subsystems. + Generate and update engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. + Conduct lab testing, investigate nonu2011conformances, and implement corrective actions. + Coordinate with suppliers, prepare statements of work, and lead supplieru2011qualification efforts. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain an active Secretclearance to start. This position is in Marietta, GA uf0e0 Discover Marietta. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering), or equivalent experience/combined education u2022 Experience with one or more aircraft Utility and Mechanical Systems (Flight Controls, Landing Gear, Hydraulics, Fuel, APU, Equipment & Furnishings, etc.) Desired Skills: u2022 Experience preparing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), Development Specifications, and Source/Specification Control Drawings. u2022 Experience with Mechanical or Structural design, including model and drawing definition, using Catia V5 or similar software. u2022 Experience with aircraft system root-cause corrective action (RCCA) activity. u2022 Experience with vendor management and providing technical oversight of supplier components. u2022 Experience with large transport aircraft Mechanical or Fluid Systems. u2022 Experience providing Engineering customer interface, meeting support, technical discussions with USG personnel. u2022 Control Account Manager (CAM)/Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
