The Opportunity: As a Mid-Level Line Cook at One Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our culinary integrity by executing high-quality dishes with precision and speed. You will collaborate with a talented kitchen team to deliver memorable meals that define our brand's reputation for excellence in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: * Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. * Manage station mise en place daily to ensure efficient service during peak dining hours. * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in strict compliance with local health and safety regulations. * Coordinate with the Sous Chef to monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and minimize food waste. Desired Qualifications: * 2-4 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume, professional kitchen environment. * Proven proficiency in various cooking techniques, including sautéing, grilling, and knife skills. * Strong understanding of food safety practices and possession of a valid Food Handler's certification. * Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. * Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork and kitchen harmony. Nice-to-Haves: * Formal culinary arts degree or professional certification from an accredited institution. * Previous experience working in a fine-dining establishment. * Broad availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Bilingual preferred but not required.
