Our aseptic processing and packaging make our solutions more convenient, efficient, and environmentally friendly. About the RoleThe Talent Acquisition Specialistis responsible fordelivering allfacetsof recruiting success for the hourly workforce throughout the respective division(s). This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, building exceptional partnerships with internal customers and external sources, and contributing to the development of innovative and efficient recruiting ideas and processes.Essential FunctionsLeads all facets of recruiting success, including posting and managing requisitions within an ATS, advertising job openings, reviewing and screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experienceThoroughlyunderstandsbusiness operations and goals to ensure the division is continually fully staffed for current and future needsBuilds strong partnerships with internal customers (operational leaders, hiring managers, human resources) through continuous and timely communication, accurate reporting, and staffing successAssists in administering pre-boarding items, including background checks, drug screens, physicals, pre-boarding documents, etc., and ensures all items are completed in a timely mannerBuilds applicant sources by researching and contacting and partnering with community services, colleges, employment agencies, external recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.Leads and conducts various job fairs and staffing events (virtual and in-person)Determinesapplicant qualifications by reviewing resumes and job requirementsManagesevaluations, assessments, and testing for candidatesEnsuresa positivecandidate experience with follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and emailContributes to the development and/or enhancement of recruiting processes by identifying opportunities, proposing creative ideas, and implementing solutionsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Responsible for facilitating and aiding the recruiting process development and success for salaried roles as needed throughout respective regions and divisions.Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escortingapplicantto interviews; arranging community tours asrequired.Performs other related and assigneddutiesas necessary. Performance CategoriesDivisionis nearly/fullystaffed at all timesMeet and/or exceed staffing KPI's (time to fill, percent staffed, etc.)Operational leaders are kept abreast of recruiting activity Productivity/quality standards: accuracy, timeliness, thoroughnessRecruitment and retention of workforce to meet GSF’s staffing needsTeamwork within the department and across departmentsInternal customer satisfaction, as well as positive candidate experienceEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Experience:3 to 7 years in a recruiting role dedicated to high volume, hourly workforce recruiting for a manufacturing environmentFull life cycle recruiting High volume, hourly workforce recruitingRegulations with the DOL, EEOC, and OFCCP.Strong communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise,tactand diplomacy toaccomplishobjectives. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. Proven ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.) Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.) Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems Strong decision-making skillsEmployment Skill and ability to:Communicate consistently and effectively across various teams and levels within the companyBe exceptionally self-motivated, independent, and productiveProvidea high levelof customer service to our internal customersBuild excellent rapport with leaders throughout the companyActin accordance withGSF’s Values and CreedPay and BenefitsPay Range:$62,000 to $75,000At KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, we believe that investing in our associates strengthens our culture and fuels our growth.
