PURPOSE STATEMENT:Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy patient care environment.Join the Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital team as a full-time Housekeeper. In this position you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy patient care environment.Our size allows us to maintain a close‑knit, family‑oriented atmosphere where you’ll build meaningful relationships and have more one‑on‑one access to our directors and a genuine sense of belonging within our team.The hourly pay range for this position is $14.17-$19.83.Bronson offers competitive wages along with a comprehensive benefits package and many additional perks.Three Medical Plan Levels, Dental and Vision InsuranceHSA with a Company ContributionFSA Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountBasic Life/AD&D and Supplemental Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401k with a Company Match EAP (Employee Assistance Program)Employee Discount ProgramGenerous PTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.Perform other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.Launder soiled linens as directed.Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit use.Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.Responsible for stocking of supplies as neededFollow all infection control measures.OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical or healthcare environment preferred.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.We are committed toprovidingequalemploymentopportunitiestoall applicantsforemploymentregardlessofanindividual’scharacteristicsprotected byapplicable state,federalandlocallaws.BBHH
