This role serves as a subject matter expert for the wholesale processing team and plays a critical part in ensuring loans move efficiently from submission to closing within the broker-driven channel.The ideal candidate will provide day?to?day guidance to Wholesale Account Managers/Processors, support broker pipeline management, and act as an escalation point for system, loan-level, and process challenges. This individual will help drive operational excellence through coaching, problem-solving, and process optimization tailored to wholesale workflows.Serve as the primary support resource for the team of Wholesale Account Managers/ProcessorsCoach, mentor, and develop processors to ensure high?quality broker submissions and efficient loan movementMonitor and evaluate processor performance, providing feedback and support as neededOversee and balance processor pipelines to maintain service level expectations with broker partnersStep in to assist with loan files during high-volume periods or when processors are unavailablePartner cross?functionally with Wholesale Sales, Underwriting, and Closing teams to resolve escalations and support broker needsIdentify and communicate opportunities for process improvements within the wholesale workflowConduct spot?checks of loan files to ensure clean submissions and compliance with wholesale standardsMaintain a small personal pipeline (5-10 loans) to stay current with systems, processes, and broker expectationsPerform additional responsibilities as needed to support the wholesale operations teamMinimum 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with at least 3 years of loan processing experienceWholesale mortgage experience strongly preferredMinimum 2 years of leadership or team lead experience is a plusStrong working knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations and wholesale-specific loan flowExperience processing Conventional loansSelf?starter mentality with the ability to navigate open?ended challenges and support broker partnersDemonstrated ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement within fast?paced, high?volume environmentsAbility to collaborate effectively with remote team members while also working independentlyStrong sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven wholesale settingCommitment to personal excellence, integrity, and accountability—consistent with Spring EQ’s core valuesHealthy work-life balance.We are committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance and fostering an environment of productivity and collaboration.
