Mid-Level QA Engineer

Job Description This role is responsible for executing automated QA testing across APIs, UIs, databases, and scheduled jobs within Agile development teams. You will create and maintain test cases, develop automation scripts for web-enabled applications, and track execution and defects using JIRA. The role supports cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management platforms, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable software throughout the development lifecycle. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements u2022 3- 5 years of hands-on QA engineering and testing experience with progressive testing responsibilities including but not limited to designing and executing API, UI, Scheduled Jobs, and DB test scenarios/cases. u2022 Experience in developing test automation scripts, particularly web-enabled applications u2022 3-5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools. u2022 2-4+ years of experience with JIRA to support test case execution or other case management tools. u2022 Advanced expertise in quality assurance testing activities for the designated business area to develop effective testing practices to confirm integrity and reliability of business operations. u2022 Experience supporting Cyber Security tools/applications, including but not limited to Identity and Access Management (LAM) u2022 Technology Platforms such as Zscaler, SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ), PING ID, and/or HYPR or related in Cyber Security. u2022 Able to effectively communicate essential information across multiple departments and groups including technical and non- technical audiences. u2022 Experience and understanding of overall software development processes including business analysis, development, testing, u2022 maintenance, and improvement of software. u2022 Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Testing Frameworks.
