Peraton requires Service Now Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.We are seeking an experienced Senior ITSM Administrator to lead the administration and management of our ServiceNow platform at USSOCOM. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and has previously led a transition from BMC Remedy to the ServiceNow platform. Candidate will be responsible for optimizing system performance, implementing best practices, and mentoring junior administrators. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and stabilityLead the implementation of new modules, applications, and enhancements based on business requirementsCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and document technical specifications and workflowsDevelop and enforce best practices for ServiceNow administration, including system security, user access, and data integrityTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the ServiceNow platform, providing timely support to usersConduct system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure the platform is up-to-date and secureCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and proceduresProvide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members on ServiceNow functionalities and best practicesMonitor system performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements and optimizationsStay current with ServiceNow updates, features, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organizationEnforces ServiceNow license management & governance (e.g. User, App, API Usage, Custom Tables, etc.)Required Qualifications:Minimum 12 years experience with HS Diploma, 10 years experience with AS/AA degree, 8 years experience with BS/BA degree, 6 years experience with a MA/MS, 3 years experience with PhDDoD 8570 IAT II CertificationDoD TS/SCI clearance Desired Qualification:5+ years of experience as an ITSM Administrator, with a proven track record of successful implementations and managementServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification; Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified Implementation Specialist) desiredExperience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM/SAMExperience with ServiceNow integration tools and APIsExperience with ServiceNow On-Prem instance implementation, management, and troubleshootingKnowledge of database management and SQL (MariaDB)Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practicesProficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
