Department:Rehab ServicesSchedule: Part-Time Days Work Location: UAB ST Vincent's Blount Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and moreEvaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy.Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services.Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.Licensure / Certification / Registration:Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Audiologist according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Speech Language Pathology required.Education:Graduate from an accredited program relevant to professional licensure required.No Additional PreferencesUAB St. Vincent’s, a proud part of UAB Medicine, is a trusted provider of health care, serving Alabama for more than 125 years.
