The Maintenance A will be responsible for implementing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, collaborating with the engineering team to optimize processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ability to work hands-on and adapt to a dynamic manufacturing setting is essential for success in this role.Works in any area on site as directed while adhering to proper safety protocol. This role is located in Mars, PA and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $44.08Schedule: All shifts availability based on business needsPay Schedule: WeeklyMaintenance A Responsibilities:Determines sequence and process flow for production equipmentInspect mill equipment and determine necessary electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs requiredProcures necessary drawings and manuals and interprets same to insure proper functioning of equipmentDetermine cause of mill equipment breakdown or failure and proceed to make necessary repairsPlans details of working procedure and determine material or replacement needs along with supervisor arranges personnel to perform the necessary workAnalyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams, etc., as required to install, repair, calibrate or otherwise serviceall types of mill electronic devices and systemsAssembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical partsFabricate parts to print using welders, cutting torch, hand tools as necessaryAdjusts mill equipment to assure proper operating characteristicsObserves safety regulations, such as locking out equipment when necessary and maintain work area in a clean and orderly conditionTaking training classes as directed to keep up to date on improved technologyAll other job duties assignedMaintenance A Qualifications:Excellent Communication and Training skills to collaborate effectively within teamsProficient Analytical Skills for problem-solving and equipment diagnosticsAbility to work in a team environment with a focus on safety and efficiencyPrevious experience in industrial maintenance or a relevant technical fieldEligible candidate must hold Journeyman trade paper, Military equivalent, or a 2 year Technical degreeMust have ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics without direct supervision as well as the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics and water systems as well as corresponding equipment associated with the operation.A welding certification or welding experience with the ability to layout and fabricate per written and verbal instructions.Familiarity with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology is a plusAble to lift 50 lbs.Not afraid of heightsJoining Wieland’s team gives you…Benefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!Retirement Savings- 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance- Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
