Collectively, Hanger employees touch thousands of lives each day, helping people achieve new levels of mobility and freedom.The Manager, Central Fabrication will plan and coordinate available resources to achieve quality, production and financial objectives. Organize daily work flow to produce highest productivity possible within the department while maintaining product quality.Responsible for scheduling and expediting all work through the department.Order all necessary materials and components required to meet daily production schedule.Recruit, hire, train, and develop department personnel.Facilitate communication between practitioners and technicians on technical issues to enhance quality control.Build good communications between the Central Fabrication department and its customers, branches, Central Purchasing and all departments within Hanger.Provide all pricing for work performed.Ensure a safe working environment and promote safety awareness among employees.Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and other governmental rules and regulations.Create and distribute all department reports and summaries.Assist with all personnel issues. Ensure adherence to all administrative and financial policies and procedures; develop company spirit and teamwork within the department. Lead daily execution to meet operational KPIs (People, Safety, Delivery, Quality, Cost).Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.RequiredBS in Business Administration, Production Operations, O&P or equivalentOne to three years of production management experiencePreferredFive years orthotics/prosthetics fabrication production experience preferredAmerican Board Certified (ABC) registered technician preferred in Orthotics and or ProstheticsProven problem solving skills.Proven organizational and time management skills.Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Proven supervisory or leadership skills.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects as well as ongoing production work.Proven track record of productionProven track record of quality assuranceAct with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.Pay range of $90,000- $105,000/year + bonus + benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with State Law.
