Sunriver Resort is hiring a seasonal Backyard Café Supervisor to help drive an upbeat, welcoming experience in our popular outdoor dining venue. The Outlet Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the designated Food & Beverage Outlet team. They will work with the team to ensure guest satisfaction and optimum performance. The Outlet Supervisor will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.The Outlet Supervisor will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction Leads and Supervises the Café teamEnsures supplies are properly stocked; assists with ordering supplies as necessaryAssists with coordinating inventory controlUtilizes labor management tools to schedule and control labor costsAssists manager with new hire and termination paperworkParticipates in staff meetings and agendaAttends mandatory monthly department meetings and appropriate resort and division meetingsReports any needed repair immediately to Maintenance using correct proceduresEnsures proper bookkeeping and resort policies are followedResponsible for daily reports and manager log book entriesPerforms cafe staff duties as necessaryMaintains a safe and pleasant work environment Assists the of Restaurants with preparing and monitoring budget of expenditures and projected incomesWorks with the Lodge F&B Administrative Assistant to Monitor associate time punches in UKG Instills a calm, organized approach in all stressful situationsWorks with the Director of Restaurants and Lodge F&B Senior Leader to recruit and hire café staffEnsures service standards are being applied by all team membersEnsures cleanliness and safety of the outletPromotes high associate moraleRecommends discipline and/or termination when appropriate Assists with the coaching and counseling of teamAssists with completing performance reviews Responsible for the achievement of department goals and objectivesConducts continual trainingResolves guest issues promptly and with great care and effectivenessEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least one year Food & Beverage experience requiredAt least one year of customer service experience requiredAt least one year of supervisory experience preferredPrior hospitality experience preferred Two or four year degree in hospitality related field preferredAt least six months POS system experience preferredPrior cash handling experience requiredJOB REQUIRMENTS:Must be at least 21 years of age Must have valid driver’s license and meet resort driving standardsMust possess valid OLCC card upon hireMust possess valid Food Handler’s card upon hireMust have excellent computer skillsMust have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsMust have excellent leadership skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysWORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shiftMust be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height and push/pull up to 75 lbsMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally
