Business Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a Contract position with a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days onsite and two days remote each week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the organizationu2019s risk assessment program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating across departments to enhance processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct periodic internal controls testing to support the organizationu2019s risk assessment program. u2022 Monitor and analyze compliance-related issues, escalating concerns as necessary to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. u2022 Provide expertise in areas such as document review, gap analysis, and Agile Scrum methodologies. u2022 Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures related to compliance with regulations, including those pertaining to the PATRIOT Act. u2022 Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with compliance and risk management goals. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in business processes. u2022 Utilize sound industry practices to ensure consistent and effective risk management approaches. u2022 Support the organization in achieving compliance objectives through thorough analysis and strategic recommendations. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of three years of experience in compliance or risk management within a financial institution. u2022 Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools. u2022 Proficiency in Agile Scrum practices and gap analysis. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform thorough document reviews. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with compliance regulations, including the PATRIOT Act, is highly desirable.
