Job Title: 1st Shift - Chemical Handler Kearny Mesa- 7am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday $19.50/hour Job Description Join our team as a Chemical Handler on the 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm. In this role, you will perform manual plating of small electronic parts by hand-dipping them into various chemical solutions. You will handle large 55-gallon drums, ensuring the safe transportation of chemicals and materials within the cleanroom environment. Responsibilities + Hand-dip small electronic parts into chemicals for manual plating. + Manage and transport chemicals and materials in 55-gallon drums using a hand truck. + Perform various production tasks, including getting supplies, chemicals, and tooling to production areas. + Receive incoming quality assurance and assist with shipping and receiving tasks. + Clean metal screen frames using alcohol and remove tape from frames. + Perform general cleanup and adhere to 5S practices. + Log completed work in and out of the computer system. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols by wearing protective safety equipment. Essential Skills + Good computer skills for logging and record-keeping. + Basic math skills. + Ability to read and understand written work instructions in English. + Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 60 lbs safely. + Basic understanding of chemical handling and plating processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred. + Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Quality-oriented mindset. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is set in a microelectronic manufacturing environment where protective clothing and gear are required, including coveralls, boots, eye glasses, gloves, and face shields. The work area can become dusty, and all necessary protective equipment, such as boots, aprons, ear plugs, safety glasses, face shields, and masks, will be provided to ensure your safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
