Controller

Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will oversee core accounting functions, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support business performance and strategic planning. Responsibilities include: + Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and cash management + Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements + Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls + Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities + Analyze costs, margins, and operational performance to support decision-making + Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation processes + Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements + Coordinate audits and serve as liaison with external advisors + Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff + Support enhancements to ERP systems and financial reporting tools Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. u2022 Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis. u2022 Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and Excel. u2022 Proven ability to streamline processes, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple priorities effectively. u2022 Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of mentoring and managing teams.
