Job Title: Associate Addiction Therapist (Full-time/Days) Department: Behavioral Health Therapy Location: Greece Clinic, 1565 Long Pond Road Rochester, NY 14626 Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5: 00 PM Position Summary: The Associate Therapist provides patient screening, orientation, case management, and basic crisis response. The Associate Addiction Therapist will also perform additional tasks as permitted by the OASAS Scope of Practice, which may include Intake, Group facilitation, psych education, referrals, care coordination, reporting, and record-keeping.Responsibilities: u2022 Screening of clients presenting for admission to substance use disorder programs. u2022 Intake and orientation u2022 Case management, referrals, care coordination and connection to community providers and services u2022 Provides basic crisis responses and client support pre and post admission u2022 Group facilitation as permitted under the required OASAS Scope of Practice supervision and oversightu2022 Provides psychiatric and addiction educationu2022 Responsible for reporting and record keeping required for programs and outside stakeholders (OASAS, legal, county, grants etc.)u2022 Makes collateral calls, obtaining consentsu2022 Engaging clients during intake and pre-admission via telephonic, video and in person methods.u2022 Preparing and obtaining toxicology screens (observing)u2022 Participates as a contributing member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care. PAY RANGE: $19.50 - $27.25 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
