As a CAD Drafter, youu2019ll turn ideas into buildable systems by creating fabrication-ready drawings and detailed 3D models for M2Xu2019s modular gas-to-liquid and biogas systems. Working across mechanical and electrical disciplines, youu2019ll generate clear, accurate documentation that guides fabrication, assembly, and field service. From piping and frames to control panels and enclosures, your work will ensure our designs are manufacturable, reliable, and ready for deployment. Additional Skills & Qualifications You Will u25cf Design & Draft: Generate 2D and 3D fabrication drawings for piping, frames, weldments, and assemblies in Inventor and AutoCAD. u25cf Support Manufacturing: Collaborate with welders, assemblers, and QA teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and serviceable. u25cf Manage Data: Maintain revision control, metadata, and BOM accuracy using Vault. u25cf Integrate Systems: Draft control panel layouts, conduit routing, and enclosure designs that align with electrical and controls requirements. u25cf Document Clearly: Develop exploded views, subassembly documentation, and assembly instructions that streamline builds. u25cf Collaborate Across Teams: Interpret P&IDs, schematics, and layouts to deliver coherent mechanical/electrical drawing packages. What You Bring u25cf A foundation in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, or a related field (associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault in fabrication or equipment design. u25cf Experience with ASME piping, structural frames, and mechanical assemblies. u25cf Familiarity with electrical/control panel layouts, conduit routing, and enclosure design. u25cf Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and wire diagrams. u25cf Proficiency in welding symbols, GD&T, and best drafting practices. u25cf Strong communication skills and comfort working with shop personnel and cross-functional engineering teams. Bonus Points u25cf Experience supporting UL 508A panel builds or related electrical standards. u25cf Familiarity with NEMA enclosures, HMI panels, or hazardous area ratings (e.g., Class I Div 2). u25cf Knowledge of wiring best practices, including bend radius, thermal spacing, and labeling standards. u25cf Prior exposure to plant skids, electromechanical assemblies, or packaged process systems. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockledge, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
