Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Milan, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, manage payroll functions, and support HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and have a versatile skill set to contribute to various aspects of office operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reporting. u2022 Prepare accurate financial statements and assist with month-end closings. u2022 Oversee payroll for seasonal employees, ensuring proper tracking of hours, benefits, and deductions. u2022 Coordinate HR-related tasks, including employee benefits administration and 401K tracking. u2022 Supervise a small team of direct reports while providing training and guidance as needed. u2022 Handle office management duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. u2022 Maintain compliance with company policies and ensure proper documentation of financial and payroll records. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and track expenses to support financial accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address various administrative and operational needs. u2022 Adapt to new processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the office. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. u2022 Experience in payroll management, including handling seasonal employees. u2022 Familiarity with HR processes such as benefits administration and employee tracking. u2022 Ability to prepare financial statements and perform month-end closings. u2022 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage office operations. u2022 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. u2022 Effective leadership skills to supervise and train a small team.
