About the Role We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will design and support multiple product lines, develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), and generate cost estimates for our sales organization. You will also contribute to the redesign and continuous improvement of existing products. This position is highly collaborativeu2014you will work closely with manufacturing teams, production personnel, and our electrical engineer to ensure seamless product development from concept through production. Key Responsibilities + Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies across several water product lines. + Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and provide accurate cost estimates for sales teams. + Prepare quotes for new designs and updates to existing drawings. + Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, production, and electrical engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and alignment with project requirements. + Support engineering change requests, updates, and revisions to existing product designs. + Utilize SolidWorks to create models, drawings, and supporting documentation. + Contribute to process improvements and standardization within the engineering team. Required Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field). + Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer. + At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawing creation. + Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and engineering documentation Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Independence, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
