Job Title: Warehouse Associateu00a0 Job DescriptionWarehouse Associates are responsible for breaking down express freight and rebuilding it into organized stacks on pallets. You will move these materials around the warehouse. This facility handles shipping and receiving for Amazon Prime Air flights, so the materials are mostly light packages for household consumers. Tasks include climbing into large metal Unit Load Devices (ULDs) to remove packages, using hand scanners, and stacking boxes within larger boxes according to procedure. You will unload ULDs by releasing the straps that hold the plastic/canvas door closed, unload the assorted boxes within, and use a pallet jack or assist someone using a forklift to move the materials to the loading dock area, which is about 60 yards away.u00a0 Hard Skills- sorting- packaging- hand scanners- pallet jack Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in SeaTac, Washington.u00a0 Work EnvironmentAir cargo warehouse at SeaTac Airport. Parking is onsite, and all work is done inside. However, it can be cold and wet even inside when the loading doors are open. Gloves are important for handling thick straps on ULDs. Steel-toed shoes are required.
