Maintenance Technician Manufacturing Facility u2013 Hickory, NC Full-Time 2nd or 3rd Shift Available A well-established manufacturing facility in Newton, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support high-speed production and automation equipment in a modern industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills. What Youu2019ll Do + Perform PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting on production and automation equipment + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to minimize downtime + Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation + Support automation systems including motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control panels + Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment + Analyze equipment downtime and implement corrective and preventive actions + Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects + Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure a clean and safe work environment + Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime What Weu2019re Looking For + Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment + Strong skills in PLC troubleshooting, automation, and electrical systems + Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and diagrams + Mechanical troubleshooting experience on industrial or production equipment + High school diploma or GED required + Associateu2019s degree or technical training preferred + Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as needed to support production Physical & Work Requirements + Medium-duty work, including lifting up to 50 lbs + Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling + Ability to work around moving equipment, forklifts, and industrial chemicals Whatu2019s Offered + Competitive hourly pay based on experience + Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off + Stable, long-term opportunity with room for growth + Clean, modern facility with advanced automation and technology + Team-focused culture with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement _If you enjoy troubleshooting automation and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity to grow your career._ Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC.
