Shipping and Receiving Clerk Shift Mid shift: 10a - 6pm Pay $20.25 Location Lockport Job Description We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk with 2-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SAP, a strong history in inventory management, shipping and receiving logistics, and a familiarity with ERP systems. Responsibilities + Operate forklifts to move products around the facility as needed. + Greet and check in delivery drivers, verify shipment details, and collect required documentation. + Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and labels. + Enter and track shipments using SAP to ensure accurate inventory and logistics records. + Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and communicate updates to internal teams. + Monitor dock activity and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading. + Resolve discrepancies in shipment documentation and escalate issues as needed. + Maintain organized records of all inbound and outbound shipments. + Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and generating reports. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of clerk experience. + Proficiency in SAP. + Experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving logistics. + Familiarity with ERP systems. + Data entry skills. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office. + Experience using an RF scanner. + Forklift operation experience. The position requires working at the front desk in a warehouse environment, with steel toe shoes as part of the dress code. The role operates during mid-day hours from 10 AM to 6 PM, with potential overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockport, IL.
