Scrum Master

Description We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team on a long-term contract basis in East Lansing, Michigan. This role is key to supporting our organization's Agile transformation, helping teams transition from traditional methodologies to Scrum practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering collaboration, mentoring new Scrum Masters, and driving the adoption of Agile principles. Responsibilities: u2022 Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. u2022 Identify and address obstacles that hinder team progress and delivery. u2022 Provide guidance and coaching to teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum methodologies. u2022 Manage Agile tools to support backlog refinement and collaboration workflows. u2022 Train and mentor teams on Scrum practices and Agile principles to ensure successful adoption. u2022 Develop process documentation and training materials to support Agile transformation. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and align team efforts with organizational priorities. u2022 Act as a liaison between development teams and product leadership to ensure smooth communication and alignment. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Scrum Master with a solid understanding of Agile principles. u2022 Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification is required. u2022 Strong ability to mentor teams transitioning from traditional methods to Agile frameworks. u2022 Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices is highly desirable. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile tools. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration. u2022 Ability to adapt to team dynamics and meet them at their current level of Agile maturity. u2022 Experience developing training materials and process documentation for Agile adoption.
