CVE Test Engineer

Job Title: CVE Test Engineer Location : Longmont, CO - Onsite Duration: 1 year with possible extensions Pay: $60.00 - $63.00 (based on experience) Position Summary: This role is responsible for validating pre-production server, switch, HBA, RAID adapter, and retimer products from the clientsu2019 partners. The position emphasizes technical ownership, test strategy development, and cross functional collaboration to improve validation quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Technical Ownership u2022 Review and enhance test plans, coverage, and execution to improve effectiveness and efficiency. u2022 Recommend and implement enhanced validation methodologies and tools. Requirements & Strategy u2022 Maintain expertise in product functionality and relevant industry certifications. u2022 Define validation strategies aligned with project scope and delivery timelines. u2022 Identify appropriate test equipment and resources. Test Design & Development u2022 Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases. u2022 Define and execute automation strategies supporting internal test frameworks. u2022 Continuously improve validation processes and methodologies. u2022 Partner with CVE and product design teams to align test coverage with firmware and hardware architecture. u2022 Support shift left initiatives to detect issues earlier in the development cycle. Test Execution & Reporting u2022 Prepare SSD and server samples for validation. u2022 Execute validation plans and monitor test efficiency. u2022 Analyze results, including Pareto and trend analysis. u2022 Produce clear, concise validation reports and maintain document revision history. Defect Management u2022 Drive root cause analysis and resolution of defects from internal teams, partners, and customers. u2022 Ensure reproducible failure documentation with clear traceability. u2022 Communicate risk and collaborate across teams to assess results and manage deviations.
