Packaging Technician 2 Fall River, MA Pay Rates 6-1 st shift is from 8am-6:30pm $18.50/hour. 7-2 nd shift is from 6pm to 4am so itu2019s a unique schedule. They typically start at $18.50 base plus $2 shift differential for this specific shift. 8-3 rd shift is from 12am to 9am. They also typically start at $18.50 plus $3 shift differential. Summary: The Packaging Technician II is responsible for the continuous and u201ctrouble freeu201d running of all equipment incorporated within the Cup Packout processing department. In the event of an absence, the position will be filled by trained personnel. Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned. u00b7 Daily maintenance of all Packout line equipment u00b7 Repair of any breakdowns during normal production. u00b7 Proactive line adjustments, to prevent lost processing time. u00b7 Continuous equipment Preventative Maintenance, to eliminate or minimize future processing u201cdowntimeu201d u00b7 Ability to learn all aspects of processing line equipment, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments u00b7 Ability to identify product variation to set up machinery in a timely manner. u00b7 Proactive approach to mitigate processes lost time between production runs. Positional accountabilities u00b7 Understand implications of u201cdown timeu201d and inefficient processing. o Understand how to react to such matters, to minimize downtime incurred. o Develop a proactive approach to address potential downtime obstructions. u00b7 Responsible for any processing line, equipment based, u201cDown Timeu201d. o u201cYour equipment, your u201cDown Timeu201d. u00b7 Effective and continuous communication with Maintenance and Lead to discuss any resolve any hindrances to processing line time. u00b7 Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned Requirements: u00b7 Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English as it pertains to individual position. u00b7 Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
