As a Technology Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Birmingham AL, Phoenix AZ or Dallas TX. PNC is seeking a Technology Engineer to join our DevOps Enablement Team supporting WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, and Windows IIS technologies. This role will contribute to ongoing modernization and automation efforts, including support of the on-going initiatives, provisioning needs, and enablement work across our CTO organization. The ideal candidate is hands on, collaborative, and comfortable working in an Agile environment. ________________________________________ Responsibilities u2022 Support the DevOps Enablement team focused on middleware technologies including WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, and Windows IIS. u2022 Perform appliance builds, provisioning activities, and handle support tickets as part of day to day responsibilities. u2022 Contribute to automation initiatives using tools such as Ansible, Linux scripting, and Python. u2022 Participate in on-going initiatives and other modernization efforts within CTO. u2022 Collaborate within Agile teams, attending ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement. u2022 Work closely with cross functional groups including pipeline teams, NAS teams, Change Engineering, SRC, and other CTO partner teams. u2022 Drive quality, reliability, and efficiency in DevOps processes and tooling. u2022 Assist in developing documentation, standards, and best practices for middleware platform engineering. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience u2022 Hands on experience with Ansible, Linux, and Python. u2022 Agile team experience, including active participation in sprints and ceremonies. u2022 Strong problem solving ability within complex, highly integrated environments. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering and pipeline teams. ________________________________________ Preferred but Not Required u2022 Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code frameworks. u2022 Experience supporting middleware technologies such as WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, or Windows IIS. u2022 Background in platform engineering, DevOps automation, or CI/CD tooling. Education Bachelors Certifications No Required Certification(s) Licenses No Required License(s) Pay Transparency Base Salary: $55,000.00 u2013 $152,375.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
