The Patient Care Coordinator are patient facing. This position generates revenue by handling high volumes of patient calls, and providing telephonic customer service with basic knowledge of all areas of Revenue Cycle. Primary Responsibilities: + Provide support with billing, patient payments, patient inquires + Processing assistance applications + Helping get insurance coverage and resolving patient issues + Help patients apply for Medicaid and special Medicaid programs. The team processed over 700 Medicaid applications last month, 755 financial assistance applications and collected approx. $127,000 You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: + High School Diploma/GED (or higher) + 1+ years of Patient Financial Advocate related experience, including data entry and medical billing + 1+ years of experience explaining patient liability amounts (deductible, co-pay, co-insurance) + Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm; It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime + Must be 18 years of age OR older PLEASE NOTE The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates.
