Hiring for Maintenance Technicians in Spartanburg, SC pays up to $39/hr. Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining robots and automated machinery. This includes troubleshooting, adjusting, and teaching robot software and path programming. You will also install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and perform electrical and electronic maintenance on machinery and equipment. Responsibilities + Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, documenting maintenance activities. + Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts. + Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts. + Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. + Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. + Follow the preventative maintenance program. + Assist in tool, fixture, material flow, and changeovers. + Perform welding and fabrication tasks. + Troubleshoot push buttons and press keys on robot controllers, teach pendants, and programmable controllers. + Prepare and adjust robot programs and automated welding parameters. + Analyze robotically welded products to determine necessary adjustments. + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems of all equipment. + Troubleshoot and program PLCs, including Motoman systems. + Work with automated weld equipment. + Install and maintain mechanical and electrical work on automated and manual equipment. + Perform robotic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ladder programming. + Read and analyze technical schematics and blueprints. + Work with electricity up to 480 volts. + Handle VFDs, photoeyes, sensors, and contactors.
