Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Multicraft Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Multicraft Maintenance Technician Location: Alexandria, AL Pay Range: $20.00+ (Based on experience) Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional weekends required) What's the Job? + Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Diagnose equipment issues and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime. + Install, adjust, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment. + Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. What's Needed? + High school diploma or GED required. + 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. + Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, and PLC troubleshooting. + Experience with mechanical systems including bearings, belts, chains, and gearboxes. + Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
