NOW HIRING 1st Shift Industrial Electrician Job Description As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting. Your role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, including faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery, read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, and ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Collaboration with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime is key, as is maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. You will also recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction. Responsibilities + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial setting. + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring, motors, and PLCs. + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. + Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. + Work with teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime. + Maintain detailed records of repairs and inspections. + Recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency and cost reduction. Essential Skills + Experience in electrical industrial maintenance. + Troubleshooting skills for electrical systems. + Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices. + Proficiency with mechanical and electrical maintenance up to 480 voltage. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with 3-phase, PLCs, and industrial electrical systems. + 3 - 5+ years of industrial electrical on-the-job experience. + Proficiency in VFDs, motor starters, control panels, and industrial sensors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Journeyman's license or some sort of certificate is preferred but not required. Why Work Here?
