Employment Type: Part time Shift: Night Shift Description: Position Purpose At Saint Maryu2019s Hospital , the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency . What You Will Do + Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays. + Support and guide nursing staff across departments. + Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow. + Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time. + Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards. Minimum Qualifications Required: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). + Current Connecticut RN license. + The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient acute care nursing and leadership roles such as Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager Preferred: + BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). + Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS). + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Position Highlights and Benefits + Part-Time: 24 Hours/Week u2013 Night Shift. + Variable shift hours, combining 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
