Clinical Receptionist

Job Title: Clinical ReceptionistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations in a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring a high quality of service and accurate patient management. Responsibilities + Answer phones and provide quality service, directing calls to the appropriate personnel. + Check patients in and out efficiently and courteously. + Schedule appointments accurately, maintaining up-to-date records. + Verify completeness of patient registration and documentation. + Provide administrative and clerical support as needed. Essential Skills + 2+ years of medical office experience. + Experience with Epic software. + Strong communication skills. + Proven reliability and a positive attitude. + Customer service skills in a healthcare setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Great interpersonal skills. + Ability to maintain great attendance. + Capacity to stay on task and manage a high workload. + Adaptability to remain operational during inclement weather. Work Environment This role is based in an extremely busy multispecialty floor located in the Smilow Cancer Center at YNHH hospital. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, requiring availability from 8am to 5pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
