Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid LEA license (LEB or Washington 06A certification also highly desirable) and possess extensive expertise in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing low-voltage electrical systems. This role is based out of our Lake Oswego headquarters and will provide coverage throughout the state of Oregon. A company service vehicle is provided; candidates must have a clean driving record . Key Responsibilities The Limited Energy Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair, and service of a broad range of low-voltage systems, including: + Security systems + Fire alarm systems + Telephone and television wiring/cabling + Data and communication wiring + Network and structured cabling + Media panel installation and termination + Wireless internet distribution (WiFi) + CCTV systems (security cameras and monitoring) + Access control systems (keypad and card-swipe entry) + Ensuring all work meets a high standard of quality, integrity, and professionalism Required Skills & Qualifications + Valid Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician License (LEA) + Strong background in low-voltage systems, including: + Security system installation and troubleshooting + Fire alarm systems + Data cabling and wire pulling + Conduit installation + Blueprint interpretation + Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) + Skilled with hand tools and diagnostic equipment + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities + Excellent customer service and communication skills Preferred Certifications Candidates with the following additional certifications will be prioritized: + LEB license + Washington 06A HVAC/R Specialty Certification (ideal scenario) + NICET certifications (fire alarm, suppression, or related fields) ufeffAdditional Requirements + Must maintain a clean driving record + Ability to travel throughout Oregon as needed + Strong work ethic and commitment to jobsite safety and professionalism Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Oswego, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
