Loan Processor II

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor II. The Loan Processor II is the primary contact for the borrower and works closely with them to provide an excellent customer experience. The processor is responsible for verifying, compiling, and reviewing information on mortgage loan applications. They ensure that residential loan application files are complete and adhere to established standards. u2022 Fosters strong relationships with the borrower, Mortgage Loan Originator, Underwriter, Closer, and Title Company and disseminates information promptly u2022 Communicates with the borrower and all interested parties to close files in a timely manner u2022 Facilitates the loan timeline and processes to meet our borroweru2019s expectations u2022 Completes the initial review of the loan file and conducts a welcome call to borrower to ask any questions and introduce themselves u2022 Maintains and updates loan information in Encompass including uploading documents u2022 Evaluates all documentation for accuracy and completeness before submitting a file to Underwriting for Initial approval u2022 Ensures all Change of Circumstance requests sent to Audit queue (except for lock) within compliance required timeframes u2022 Manages pipeline daily to ensure all requests are completed within the required timeframe, to stay in compliance u2022 Reviews Underwriting approval and communicates outstanding conditions still needed to the borrower and the Mortgage Loan Officer u2022 Responsible for ordering and following up on Insurance, title, appraisals, verifications needed, credit supplements, LDP/GSA, payoffs, etc. u2022 Maintains every other day follow-up with the borrower on items needed to complete a file u2022 Analyzes for accuracy, conditions received from borrowers and partners; responsible for obtaining corrections/updates when needed. u2022 Assists all other departments when needed u2022 Verifies all customer files are complete and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending. u2022 Ensures customer privacy, security of files, and appropriate staff access u2022 Performs other related duties as assigned We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
