Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator, RN Position Purpose: The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator will collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager in the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of clinical care provided to the trauma patient population, which adheres to the guidelines of the American College of Surgeons. Provides in-depth knowledge of trauma care and procedures in order to drive systematic evaluation of trauma clinical care with an emphasis on patient safety and improving trauma care. Clinical Will review and analyze issues, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend corrective actions, and provide ongoing monitoring. Will utilize a standardized approach in evaluating the care delivery processes with an emphasis on decreasing variation and improving outcomes. Minimum Qualifications: u00b7 Education: Graduate of a nursing program, BSN required u00b7 Licensure / Certification: Ohio RN, TNCC within first year of hire u00b7 Experience: Minimum of five years of nursing . Practical experience in trauma nursing and data driven analysis u00b7 Effective communication skills u00b7 Excellent basic medical knowledge with clinical skills and judgment u00b7 Knowledge of fundamentals of patient safety and process analysis with emphasis on data collection, review and ongoing evaluation. u00b7 Ability to develop clear, concise written and oral presentations. u00b7 Computer literate with database development, i.e. Excel u00b7 Excellent interpersonal skills and exhibit appropriate judgment when dealing with health professionals. u00b7 Self-directed u00b7 Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.
