Position Summary The Director, Enterprise Operational Excellence u2013 Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) is responsible for sustaining enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives that enable scalable growth, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer outcomes. This role supports end-to-end process design and optimization across the MCED product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and external partner requirements. As a Lean Six Sigmau2013certified role with extensive project management expertise, the Director drives structured, data-driven transformation initiatives using Lean principles, DMAIC methodologies, and A3 problem-solving frameworks. This role partners cross-functionally with both internal and external partners to implement standardized, high-performing processes that enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve product value. Job Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive end-to-end workflow mapping across product stages and departments internal and external vendors; support the development and maintenance of SOPs, performance standards, and best practices. + Design standard work documentation, scalable processes, and workflow models to support sustainable growth and operational consistency for both internal and client engagements. + Serve as the central point of coordination for key internal stakeholders, Marketing, Operations, Lab, Customer Support, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment, timely decision-making, and disciplined execution. + Engage in vendor relationships and external stakeholder engagements, ensuring deliverables, compliance requirements, and operational standards are met. Includes all factors to ensure a best-in-class patient experience (kitting, ordering, reporting). + Architect standardized, scalable processes and workflow models that support product launches, sustainable growth, operational consistency, and high-quality client engagement. + Lead Lean and Six Sigmau2013based process improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce variation, improve cycle time, enhance quality, and elevate customer experience across the enterprise. + Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to track product launch success and operational performance; proactively identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide executive-level reporting and post-launch assessments. Required Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in business administration, related STEM field or equivalent level of experience. + 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, operations, strategy, or consulting roles. + Must have or have ability to obtain Lean Six Sigma Certification Green Belt or Blackbelt within 6months in role. + Demonstrates expertise in enterprise project management methodologies in product launch and implementation. + Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and external stakeholders. + Proven success driving measurable performance improvement across multiple divisions and vendor engagement. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and general working knowledge of Internet for business use. Preferred Qualifications + Lean Six Sigma Certification, Greenbelt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt preferred. + Experience with managing/leading cross functional teams. + Experience with enterprise process design or product launch operations. + Experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory operations, biotech, medical devices, or MCED-related environments. + End-to-end experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), especially in healthcare or regulated industries. + Experience designing operational workflows for laboratory operations, kitting, ordering, sample logistics, reporting, and external vendor coordination. + Track record implementing scalable operating models in high-growth or earlyu2011stage product environments. + Skill in designing KPI dashboards, operational scorecards, and postu2011launch reporting frameworks. + Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems, especially in logistics, labs, fulfillment, or healthcare operations. Physical Demands + Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use standard office equipment. + Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Other + This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
