If you thrive in a highu2011tech environment and love solving problems with your hands and your mind u2014 this is the role for you. u2705 WHAT YOUu2019LL DO Youu2019ll support advanced aerospace manufacturing through tasks such as: + Building composite & metallic structural assemblies of varying complexity + Setting up, aligning, and securing precision assembly fixtures + Operating drills, die grinders, calipers, countersinks & standard aircraft tools + Drilling highu2011accuracy holes into composites, metals & multiu2011layer stacku2011ups + Installing aerospace fasteners: Hiu2011Lok, Hiu2011Lite, Composiu2011Lok, Cherry Max , and more + Performing trimming, fitting, sealing, and structural fastening operations + Assisting in repair evaluations and technical troubleshooting + Supporting rootu2011cause analysis for defects or deviations + Ensuring compliance with engineering, quality, and safety requirements + Following detailed engineering drawings, build instructions, and digital work orders + Maintaining strict FOD prevention , 5S housekeeping, and safety standards + Collaborating with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians ?ufe0f WHAT YOU BRING + High school diploma or equivalent + 3+ years handsu2011on aircraft structure or fabrication experience + Strong mechanical aptitude with precisionu2011driven assembly work + Skilled with aircraft tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment + Ability to correctly identify and install common aerospace fasteners + Confidence reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and 3D models u2b50 PREFERRED SKILLS + Knowledge of drilling speeds/feeds & materialu2011specific techniques + Understanding of tolerance control & structural joining standards + Experience with composites, metals, or mixedu2011material assemblies + Interest in emerging spacecraft manufacturing processes + A&P license or related training (highly desirable) + Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement practices + Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality ?
