This job is ON -SITE. $5,000 sign on bonus FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift:1 Schedule: 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8 and 6:30 workingMonday- Friday Job Summary: Provides technical and clerical assistanceto the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and themonitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, anddeliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. The PharmacyTechnician- Home Delivery is responsible for assisting the home deliverypharmacists in the daily activities to drive and increase home deliverypatient management and prescription capture for the retail pharmacies bycommunicating patients. Functions within the guidelines of the WisconsinStatutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - PharmacyPractice Sections. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Aminimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required.Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program ispreferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Exceptional customer serviceskills. Proven attention to detail. Experience with 3rd party insurance.Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group.Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. Promotion skills -ability to sell a program. Experience with various computer systems andprograms. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registrationas a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtainedwithin 12 months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23must have applied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician(CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam(PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) isrequired within 6 months of hire.
