This is a great opportunity to receive advancedtraining and work experience in the Primary Care Behavioral HealthModel, working as a Behavioral Health Consultant. Dutiesor skills to be acquired: BHC Fellows will develop strongpsychopharmacology skills, health behavior change skills and be exposedto the breadth of mental health issues presenting in primary care. Inaddition, fellows are exposed to practice-based research (staff haveongoing projects), and have rotations with the consulting psychiatryprogram, a program for managing addictions in primary care, and caremanagement (chronic disease management). Fellows will be under thesupervision of a team of experienced primary care psychologists andlicensed clinical social workers. Hours: Thisfull time positionworksfivedays a week (Monday-Friday)in a primary care setting for one year (notAPPIC-approved).
