JOB REQUIREMENTS: Consumer Lending Specialist II ID 2026-6008 Location :City Madison Category Consumer Lending FTE 2.0 Schedule Monday-Friday8:00am-5:30pm, 5 Saturdays per quarter Salary Grade 7 Min USD$22.88/Hr. Mid USD $28.03/Hr. Overview The Consumer Lending SpecialistII is a skilled communicator, has proficient knowledge of consumerlending, and is responsible for sales, underwriting, and education ofmembers and/or new lenders. They oversee the timely and thoroughanalyses of loan requests and evaluate the components and potential riskfactors to appropriate decision applications. This position provides thefull range of loan products and services to our members with emphasis onexpanding and enriching member relationships by utilizing thedepartment's service philosophy. The LSII consistently educates memberson credit, identifies members' best financial loan solutions, diagnosesadditional cross-sell opportunities, and refers members for non-lendingproducts. Offer a personalized suite ofprotection products appropriate for each member that will enhance andprotect their loans and credit. Be responsible for individual goalsincluding loan volumes and booking efficiency. Actively ask open-endedquestions to identify opportunities for lending and deposit products andservices. Demonstrate knowledge of sales behaviors and activities andincorporate at least some of them to obtain referrals that contribute todepartmental and organization goals. Underwriting and Queue ManagementHave regulatory knowledge and follow regulations and compliancerequirements.
