Laser Operator

PPS is seeking an experienced Laser Operator for our fabrication facility in Parma Hts. The Laser Operator is responsible for laser cutting parts to customer specs. This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and effective team collaboration to ensure quality and timely delivery. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role with excellent starting compensation, second-to-none benefits (including an on-site gym), and a high ceiling for growthu00a0 u00a0u00a0Responsibilities:u00a0u00a0- Operate laser cutting machines to maintain daily production goals- Read blueprints to determine machine set ups- Use CNC control panel to input data for machine instruction- Use precision measuring devices to ensure customer specs are met- Follow approved procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance- Communicate production job status via email and the help desk system in a clear and timely manner- Perform daily maintenance tasks on laser cutting equipment- Keep machines and work area clean, organized, and free from obstructions to support a safe and efficient environmentQualifications:- 1+ years CNC machine experience- Ability to read blueprints- Experience using precision measurement instruments- Technical certification or degree preferred- Ability to stand for extended periods- Capable of handling materials up to 40 lbs- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Demonstrated employment or experience in detail-oriented settings
